Sometime in 2006, DJ Txako was born. Member of well know collective “Caribbean Dandy” and rock latino promoter “Japonicus” Txako exploded onto an unsuspecting Tokyo music scene with its unique live performance and massive doses of Rock Latino, Cumbia, Mestizaje, Reggae, Ska, Dub, Drum&Bass, Jungle and raw energy. Famous for her live shows at well known festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival (from 2007～2023), Radical Music Network, Asagiri Jam, Toyota Rock Festival, Go Out Jamboree, etc. DJ Txako has toured in Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States, France, Basque Country, Italy, Spain, Catalonia, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, Vietnam and Japan performing big festival such as Vive Latino (Mexico), Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Esperanzah World Music Festival (Spain), Clownia Festival (Catalonia), Actual Festival (Spain), Ariano Folk Festival (Italy), Stepping Stone Festival (Korea), EHZ Festibala (France), Urban Nomad Freakout (Taiwan), DMZ Peace Train Music Festival (Korea), Mercat de Musica Viva de Vic (Catalonia), Playtime Festival (Mongolia), Zapato Azule (Basque Country), etc. Also Txako have worked with well known artists such as, Rico Rodriguez, Roy Ellis, Manu Chao, Flogging Molly, Fishbone, Gaz Mayall, Fermin Muguruza, Nathen Maxwell of Flogging Molly, DJ Scratchy, Angelo Moore & The Brand New Step, Mimi Maura, La Ruda Salska, Obrint Pas, Galaxy Express, Sergent Garcia, etc. In her wake, she left many fans hungry for more and influenced new DJs throughout Japan and the rest of the world. Txako continue touring around the globe. In the meantime, kick up the volume, stand back and get ready for the full frontal assault known as...DJ TXAKO!!
